International Sports Sciences Association Personal Trainer
RACHEL RICHARDSON Nutritionist & personal trainer
Rachel was born in Boise, Idaho and moved to Portland to attend school before returning back home too Boise. She has been involved in sports for most of her life participating in both basketball and track from a young age. Rachel's passion for helping others has been a long burning fire that continues to grow stronger.
Rachel started CrossFit in 2013 in order to rehab a torn quad muscle (apparently kickball is dangerous kids). CrossFit was the passion Rachel was missing since leaving behind high school sports. While Rachel loved CrossFit an unhealthy relationship spurred an even more unhealthy relationship with food and alcohol. Through the community at her gym Rachel found the courage to leave her toxic relationship and turn focus to herself.
Since 2016 Rachel has committed herself to improvement in all aspects of life. She started to focus on her own nutrition to lose the weight she had put on and to find a happier, more balanced self. She committed herself to the sport of CrossFit and between focusing on her own nutrition and exercise was able to drop nearly 60 pounds and keep it off sustainably.
In 2019 Rachel was exposed to the world of Powerlifting and found yet another passion she could not turn away from. She is now a competitive powerlifter and occasional CrossFitter living her best life in Boise.
Her own struggles with her health and weight loss journey made her realize how much she wanted to help others feel the same empowerment she found and she has since dedicated her time to nutrition and fitness coaching.
