Chapati is a form of naan. Delicious, airy, and the perfect utensil for this dish
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
oil for frying
1. In a large bowl combine flour, salt, sugar, 2 tbsp oil, and water and mix well. Knead for about 10 minutes adding flour if dough becomes too sticky.
2. Add 2 tbsp oil and knead until thoroughly mixed in. Cover the dough and let sit for 40 minutes.
3. After letting dough sit, divide dough into 10 equal parts making ball shapes. Arrange on a flat surface dusted with flour and roll out into a circular shape. Repeat for all dough balls
4. In a hot oiled pan, place one chapati at a time and fry until golden brown flip and repeat on other side.
